Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953 is an American actress. She is best known as the character the character of Lieutenant Sheba in the series 1978-1979 television series Battlestar Galactica. Her parents are the grandmother and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actress June Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career in the early years. Her first choice was Glen Larson who sent her a sketchy script for a role on the 1978 show on TV Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the role as the character was not strong. Glen then wrote her the role with a more powerful character, Sheba. After having read the initial 25 pages from the script The Living Legend she accepted immediately. The program ran for one episode.
