Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart

Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American Actress who performed a variety of roles in television, films and the theater. She received numerous accolades including the Daytime Emmy Award and a National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11 2022) is the American actress. Her first recognition came from playing twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap-opera Another World (1987-1991) winning the Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Her acting career took off during the latter part of the 90s, when she starred in the crime-drama film Donnie Brasco (2007), the disaster film Volcano (2017), the slasher flick I Know What You Did This Summer (2017) the political satire Wag the Dog (1997), the comedy action movie Six Days Seven Nights (2000) as well as the action thriller Return to Paradise (2008). Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953) is an American actress. She is well-known as the character Lieutenant Sheba, in the 1978-1979 television series Battlestar Galactica. She is the daughter of actor June Lockhart. Her grandfather was an actor Gene Lockhart. Her career began at a very young age. When she was just 4Lockhart was in the role of T is for Tumbleweed. This film of a short length about topic was selected to win an academy award. Lockhart would be working on set with her mother, so that she could learn the intricacies of running a business. Lockhart has even appeared on numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory, 1972 was Lockhart's first film. When she was 18, she appeared as one of the daughters Joan Crawford in 1972 television show The Sixth Sense. The show was Joan's final role as an actor. Many believe that Anne did not want to play Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween. Jaime Lee Curtis was given the part. Carpenter said the actress was his initial option for the role, but she refused. Anne says she does not recall ever being contacted or given the part by John Carpenter. Perhaps her agent rejected the role off without notifying Anne. Glen Larson, who had given her the initial draft script of a character of the TV series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, first chose her. The role was initially rejected as the character wasn't that robust. Glen was able to write an even stronger character with Sheba. After having read the initial 25 pages of the story The Living Legend she accepted instantly. The show ran for only one season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
