Aura Garcia Sanchez is a Spanish actress who has appeared on Spanish TV and films. She has appeared on television as well as in films such Stockholm. Garrido was a Madrid born baby in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez is a painter. Following her first piano lessons at age four when she was four, she began learning ballet. She had a most trusted friend who could speak English who taught her the language. She enrolled in the Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico when she completed her studies in high school. The third year of her studies, she studied the interpretation of texts and textual interpretation. But in 2010 she quit the program because she had been cast as a character in Planes para manana. This role earned her the Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category as well as an award for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
